AUTOMATIC UPDATING OF REFERENCE PARAGRAPHS

A procedure for updating the references listings in the reference paragraphs of sections in a master or in a job has been developed.  The procedure requires the use of SpecsIntact software and the current UFGS master.  The specification writer needs to be cautious when updating a job as the automation deletes the 1.1  REFERENCES paragraph in the section and rebuilds it using the section text tagged with RID and UFGS Master Reference List; if the project contains publications not in the UFGS they will not be included in the updated 1.1 REFERENCES paragraph.  The specification writer should create Supplemental Reference List prior to updating the project to preserve the additional publications.
